I will apprciate if you also advise any contacts and reference for the type of business I want to start.

If you don't have a type of business decided on, you are not in a position to start one. Asking the question here isn't going to help you be ready - there's a lot more to starting a business that just an idea of what you want to do, and it gets immeasurably more complicated when it's international.

If you have enough money to open a bar or cafe in Sai Gon, then you have enough money to live very confortably for at least a couple of years. I would recomend that you save enough cash to retire on (about $300 or $400 K (usd)) and forget the business idea. I own a bunch of land. I bought it years ago and it cost a fortune to buy but I'm not complaining. My kids will own it some day. However, I wish I had invested that money at 14%, 16% or 20% in a Viet bank. I would be retired right now.
