I never feel that mere words on a piece of stone. Will ever be enough. To show these Men how much we owe them. It should become our way of speaking. It should never be anything less, than at every Sporting Event. Every Gathering of any kind. And every time each of us are assembled. I pray for the day that we honor our Military. With our voices? And our own ways of saluting those. That give us those Rights that some wish to trample on. Thanks Sunshine. You are the best!

I definitely will be. . . I have family over there in Iraq right now. . a cousins daughter and another cousins grandson. We would not have our freedom today if not for the brave men and women who fight for it. . . My heart is with all of them and their families in my daily prayers. . . I love that poem Flanders Fields. . . for those who may not know it, here it is. . . In Flanders Fields In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved, and were loved, and now we lie In Flanders fields. Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields. — Lt.-Col. John McCrae (1872 - 1918)

Wonderful! Wonderful video. I love Trace Adkins. It's amazing how strangers like our soliders are out there fighting for our country and risking their lives for us but it's wonderful. I am so proud to be an American and so thankful to live in a land that's free. I hope that everyone who lives here is. I hear about a lot of the other countries out there who are suffering I Mean in a few places women can't even be seen without a cover over their heads I can't imagine living like that. I feel bad for them but I'm so thankful that I don't have to live like that. To many things a lot of people take for grant about living here but you need to stop and relize that it could be worse. A lot of the soliders have died for you and me so we could be free. We need to remeber this and be thankful. Especially since it's Memorial day weekend. I had a grandpa who served in WWII and he made it through but it's men like him who have helped us have a free country. Have a good and safe memorial day weekend everyone! Remeber the reason for this holiday and be thankful.

That was beautiful...thank you, it reminded me why I come on here everyday and try to make people understand, to push through the anti war crap and tell people what our soldiers are fighting, and sacrificing their lives and innocence for...to remind them of all the sacrifices that have already been made so that they can be here today in this wonderful country with the very freedoms they use to mock our hero's...GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS! Today's, Yesterday's, and tomorrow's!

Some of us gave a little time and came home, others gave their all. And even though they too came home, I salute them, and thank them. For serving, and for dying for us. They were cheated of their lives, but they touched ours, and live on thru us. Semper Fi.

Some thing can never be forgotten, especially since we are now involved in a conflict.

We must celebrate the fallen's lives especially those lives that we shared.

A time for mourning, yes, but also a time to give thanks to all of them for the gift they gave us, and to also remember the ones who are still giving us our precious heritage and freedom.

Forget whatever feeling you may have toward the justice or injustice of why we are fighting, but bless those who fight for us for whatever reason.
