choose... it's all about the choice.

No... NEVER... Ever... I think too much.. about the details, about the outcome, about the what if's ... at least 10 different ways, then I end up in confusion of what is MOST right for the need.

"CHOOSE" sounds like an order that I won't take... don't make me choose.. don't ask me to be determined in a dream that isn't my own...

But when it comes right down to the moment... whatever the choice is, it has to sit well within the bones of my body, something I know I can and will live with.

Life is difficult, sometimes we all are just trying not to screw it up.

And even then, we are choosing how to fix our screw ups.

Heavy heavy Q Patsky!

Decisions come more easily to some than to others, but in either case, it depends more on the what the decision is about. What is interesting is that some people find decisions very difficult when only the self is involved, & others when possible consequences may impact others. Self oriented, nurturing, whatever--there are patterns to the "nature" of an individual. Personally, I find the most complex & serious decisions a very calm, & logical process. It's silly little things that get me in a a bit of a dither! (But not for long.)

Edit: Just looked at the answers, Moonriver would definitely be a nurturer.

Sometimes and sometimes it's more difficult to make a decision. It really depends on what it's about. With big life decisions, I tend to think it over quite a bit and look at all sides and then make my decision. With smaller things in day to day life, It's easier and quicker to make a decision.

Nope, I'm usually indecisive. I consider all of the options and just wonder about which ones would I think make life more exciting...never about which ones would I regret.

If what I have to decide affects only myself, it's very easy, because I almost always know exactly what I want.

It's not easy when there are other people involved. I don't want to upset or hurt them but, in most cases, what I want, or what I think is best for me, is not what they want, or what they need or expect from me. I tend to spend a long time agonizing over these kind of decisions and, frequently, end up choosing their needs over mine.

I'm going through something like this right now. There are too many people in my life that need me, and take all my time. I feel like taking my time back to me, going back to my tranquil life. But I don't want to abandon or hurt them...
