This is a very sensitive subject, but yes I think a man should have a say in the decision. Finances, nurturing and stable environment should collectively be the basis of the decision. If the guy does not want to keep the baby and she does, then of course they should pay child support or verbally reach an agreement, in writing, about what is expected of them. This is respecting the mother of the child and displaying responsibility of a man. Otherwise, going thru the system *Friend of the Court* will be an even bigger pain for the guy.

The man does not have a choice in the abortion, but he presumably has a choice in the act that created the child. The child has no choice in either. Punishing the child for the circumstances of the child's conception by depriving the child of the economic support of the father is not something that is morally justifiable. Nor is it just to make society as a whole pick up the slack. So yes, he should have to pay support.

Abortion can seriously mess with a girls head and body so sorry but it is her choice but I also believe she should listen to your point of view as well.
If she does choose to keep the baby then unfortunately yes you should do the right thing by paying child support, at the end of the day you both agreed to have sex so both have to deal with the consequences.

Your choice was to have sex without birth control. That said you have no say in if she has an abortion or not. If not you pay child support for at least 18 years as it is your child and your responsibility.

A wife's right to choose abortion takes precedence over the husband-and-wife relationship. A husband may not preclude his wife from having a legal abortion, nor may he compel her to have one. The Supreme Court struck down statutory requirements that a husband must be notified of his wife's abortion, in Planned Parenthood v. Casey, 505 U.S. 833, 112 S. Ct. 2791, 120 L. Ed. 2d 674 (1992).

If you are talking about a girlfriend, then you have no legal standing whatsoever over another's body.

No a man does not have a choice, it is weird for guys. You have no rights, you have no choice, you have no vagina. I will say this, I don't think a man should have the choice, because child support isn't a reason not to have a child.

If you're worried about it then either wrap it or keep it in your pants. If a child is born and you're the daddy then you're responsible. The decision to have or not have an abortion is irrelevant at that point.

The man does not have a choice. He made his choice when they had sex.
