I am planning to buy an MP3 player that supports MP3 and WMA files. But i was wondering if tracks downloaded from itunes would work on it?
(please answer i'm kinda desperate)

No the iTunes tracks won't work. They are in a protected AAC format and can't be converted.

As long as the file you are download is an MP3 file, it should work, however if it an MPEG file, it needs to be converted to an MP3 file before transfering.

It relies upon on the MP3 participant...homestead windows Media participant does play WMA. i understand that Itunes converts WMA information into mp3s or mp4s so as that the Ipods can the play them. it actually relies upon upon the type of the MP3 participant. in the past procuring one i opt to propose you study what information the participant tremendously performs.
