The b*stards have brought in a £10 monthly charge if you don't have a certain amount of money in your account. This helps to slip me into the red again and the charges are still £25 each. I have already claimed my past charges back.

Most banks will only give you a certain ammount of your charges back and after that you're pretty much on your own. The bank where I work, we generally only give charges back if the bank has made a mistake. (And this rule comes from our corporate office.) Every now and then we will give charges back, but we have really been told not to. I don't think is gonna change anytime soon, because each bank already has different charges so if you're unhappy with the charges you're getting maybe try a different bank?
