Recent theological studies have shown that 666 is unlikely to be the actual number of evil. 616 has been proposed as a more likely candidate, but most mathematicians will tell you that if it isn't prime, it is probably an irrational number.
That being said, if you believe in the power of numbers, this 'omen' would probably serve more as a warning to change you evil ways. :)

no you are not the pope he wears a miter around his neck, and it says translated from roman letters that he is the vicker of god ,but if you give the lettters the equivelent of roman nunerals it adds up to 666 check it out for yourself and don't believe me
