Yes they are however some times they dont want to back out of there threaded holes. And I'm replacing lots of hoses these days look for oily residue.

Of course they are, the valves are called schrader valves, and the "stems" are called service ports. After replacing them the system needs to be evacuated and recharged.

Most of them are, I have found a few GM vehicles that required replacing a hose.
