Maybe they'll rework the Federal Price Gouging Prevention Act into an amendment.

Or maybe they'll mandate $2/gallon gasoline and wonder why we wont find ANY at that price.

No where just as there is no where in the constitution where it says we should be sold sizeable and reasonably priced Hamburgers. But there is a place where the constitution mentions about the "right of every American to live and to make a living". The oil sharks are denying us this right by squeezing the blood out of our veins.

It DOESN'T but many think it should b/c they believe that they should be able to fill their SUV for less than $30...Bottom Line---We should be LUCKY that gas prices are this low...elsewhere there are up to $8 a gallon! Quit buying big cars that you cannot afford if you do not want to spend big money on gasoline!

It doesn't even suggest that gov't has the authority to arbitrate the price of anything. This latest legislation is nothing more than a feel good measure by a bunch of crooks so we will continue to re-elect them.
So who's dumber? The crooks or the ppl who will re-elect them?

After having read it very carefully, word by word, I was unable to find any reference at all to gasoline.

high gas prices don't phase me a bit due to my financial circumstances, but I feel for people with big families who are already having a hard time. anyways, i guess it keeps a lot of the poor bush voters off the streets - a good thing

We have a right to a fair price. I don't care if the constitution says it or not. I wouldn't charge somebody 20 bucks that only cost me 3, everybody says Bush has brought morality back to our country, if morality involves deciding between gas (to go make money) and food for my child, meanwhile the guy who charges so much for gas says "Record Profit!!!", if this is morality I'd rather not have it.
