Yes, it's an old douche.."recipie" , for lack of a better word. Douches are actually no longer reccomended by gyno's unless it's for a specific infection or cause. The washing out with vinegar and water can cause a ph imbalance and actually CAUSE infection.

NO it is NOT a good douche for a yeast infection. It can make things worse, actually. Do NOT douche unless specifically directed by your OB/GYN.
Douching off sets the natural balance of bases and acids in your vagina, which can cause a yeast infection(characterized by chunky or creamy white discharge, and may also have mild to very intense itching) or bacterial vaginosis(characterized by a greyish discharge and a fishy odor-not an STI). Your body cleanses itself naturally with clear discharges after your period. There should be no reason to douche, like I said, unless directed by your OB/GYN.

What you really need to do is just take a dose of Alka-Seltzer original. It will kill infections or bacteria very fast. Fast as in an hour or so. It is very safe and also very cheap. Just follow the directions on the package. I am very serious here with this. I keep it in my house all the time in case an infection should flare up. Most cases the infection will be killed in less than an hour.

Yes. Actually douching is unnecessary as the vagina cleans itself.

Using them too often can cause problems. I'll only use one after I've had an especially icky period.
