Find area of yard. A =LxW=15mx15m=225m2 (AY)
Find area of garden 2.25m x 10m=22.5m2 (AG)
Put AG over AY & x by 100. 22.5/225 =0.1 x100=10.
10pc of yard is garden, therefore 90pc of yard is paved. Hope this helps.

2.25 x 10 / 15 x 15 = 0.1 x 100 = 10%

15 x 15 = 225
10 x 2.25 = 22.5
225 + 22.5 = 247.5
225 divided by 247.5 = 0.9090909 > 90.9%

90.9% is paved
