Open Task Manager and look in Performance ..there you wil know about your Physical Memory in KB.
there is another way you can check your memory ..go to start go to programs go to accessories then system tools and click on System Information

using microsoft windows platforms
just right click the "My Computer" icon on your desktop,
then select >>properties<< from the drop down menu
a dialog box appears that shows yu details of your box.
such as:
computer name & model e.g: Dell Optiplex ???
Processor speed e.g Pentium IV 2.8GHz
and RAM e.g 504MB RAM
2. You can also use this way.
click start, select >>RUN<<, type cmd and OK
then type mem
then you'll find the breakdown of your computer memory usage

just right click on the drives on your my computer window
and then click to the properties it'll show the memory it has and what is left , do same on the another drive if u have partitioned the drives

Right click my computer, see properties, read the bottom line. It will be in KBytes. Or watch the black screen as your PC boots and see the memory check done by your BIOS. You will also see your Hard drives and CD roms etc found by your BIOS at boot up time.

Want a cool keyboard shortcut? (Windows XP)
Press the Windows Logo button + Pause/Break button
System properties will pop up and there you'll be able to
see the memory installed on your computer.

Click right on every drive icon on my computer & click on properties , or on win XP you can see it on details in my computer windows for every drive by clicking on it .

Access your computer BIOS menu.
That is the screen you see during initial computer start up, before going to Operating System.

Go to start then Mycomputer.. On your hard drive letter (c) roll the mouse over it will tell you how much memory is left on the hard drive
