When driving on a hot day.....windows down or windows up w/ AC blasting?

If it is not too hot I prefer to go topless. The top down that is. Then drive down the main drag with my good ole 50's favorites blaring. You should see the young peoples heads turn when they see old gramps havin a great time. I even get some high fives.

If I'm with my Lil Sweety, family, and/or friends then the windows are up with the AC blasting, but If I'm with people that I dislike or that annoy me, windows down:)

it depends. if it's hot outside, but there's a nice breeze blowing, then windows down. but if it's hot and humid, windows up w/AC blasting. most of the time, it's the second one down here in north carolina.

I once saw a news report than said up and air on saves gas, now if your gas prices are anything like ours any little to save is good.

Now if you are asking for preference as long as we are moving along at a decent pace down is fine but in stop and go traffic put them up and give me the AC.

If I'm alone, windows down, sun-roof open, music blasting.
If I have the kids, then windows closed, my daughter is at the age of objecting to wind blowing in the car. ppffftt!

Up with A/C. Australian summer is so hot - windows down does not help at all.

My A/C is at latest blowing warm air so the solar roof is open and the homestead windows down area way. yet, if I have been to apply the A/C the homestead windows could be up. No element in air con the full international now. ;-)
