easy!! just right click on your internet explore icon>click on properties>type yahoo.com on adress bar in home page pane> click on apply> click on ok.
now you are done

This should work:
- Open up Yahoo! on your web server.
- Then, on the menu bar, go to Tools.
- Go down to Internet Options.
- If not selected, click the "General" tab.
- The top of the General tab section should have Home Page information, where you can enter the Yahoo! website in the box as your home page. Once entered, click the Apply or OK button.
You can check it worked by clicking the Home button on your web browser. Good luck!

Look @ the top of Yahoo Answers page. Make Y your home page and click it. You're done.

Goto Tools tab on the top Then goto internet options, Over there in the general tab u can c Homepage.In the address just type the website u want to make as homepage.
Eg: Type http://www.yahoo.com for setting yahoo as homepage

click right on IE on your desktop , then go to general , then write the yahoo address in text box ,
