I applied Anti-Biotic Ointment on my face below my cheek bone and my left elbow, and collar bone. The wound on my face is slightly deeper than normal but I don't think it's anything to worry about. Should I worry about getting Cat Scratch Fever?

You should call your Dr. Cat scratches get infected so easily. You probably won't get CSF but the chances of the wounds getting infected is huge. You may need a adacel (tetanus)vaccine also if it has been longer than 5 years. I think your Dr. will probably give you an oral antibiotic just in case.

As long as you cleaned the wounds to get any bacteria that might have been introduced by the cats claws to your skin with soap and water, then apply the ointment you should be fine. Just give it a couple fo days you should see improvement. I get scrached really bad all the time by my cat who spooks really easily and i've done what i told you every time and i haven't had any problems yet but i do have really good scars that is the only bad thing. If it gets worse and doesnt start looking better after a week or so go to your family doctor to see if you need some anitbiotics.

Like another person here, my cat scratched me a lot while playing. After a few years, I did finally acquire CSF from an incident.

One can get it, but the likelihood seems not very high. It is treatable, so relax. Watch for blood vessels becoming more visible/colorful. I had them getting very red going up my arm.

A illness that I almost never heard of until a few years ago when two of my friends came down with it.

However, CSF is still considered a rare illness. apply a thin layer of Antibiotic ointment and you should be fine

Probably not, if you washed and treated it promptly. As a cat-owner, I've gotten more scratches than you can shake a stick at, and have never gotten actually sick from it.
