It's a site that plays host to the 8-Bit Theatre comic. 8-Bit Theatre is basically a parody on the original Final Fantasy I game, starring Fighter (dim-witted swordsman), Black Mage (evil and sarcastic master of offensive magics), Red Mage (caster of both Black and White Magic. stupid genius type), and Thief (cleptomaniac to the extreme). Other generic FFI characters have been given personalities, but have only made cameo appearences, such as White Mage (caster of healing magics, the stereotypical beautiful woman white mage), and Black Belt (the master of physical martial arts, not too dumb, but also not too bright. Has a good heart but lacks common sense). There have been over 800 comics made since October 2001, and are still being made today. Even if you aren't a fan of the FF series, you'd still enjoy these comics because of their various forms of humor (political, sexual, etc.) and parody on other video games, TV shows, and movies.
