He was/is intelligent enough to take most of his payment in stock form from his record company which after Limp's success allowed him to buy out the company! That's pretty darn smart if you ask me.
Secondly, he's a lot like Howard Stern in that he recognizes that being confrontational and controversial, he will stay in the public eye and become a household name. Again that is a brilliant marketing strategy that causes name brand awareness. People know who he is.
Do I consider anything that Durst says or does as representative of his real beliefs? Heck no! He's a performing artist is all. That's it.

If you want to know a very good vocal coach try to visit https://tr.im/UQhEW an online vocal coaching tutorial. Everything, ranging from breathing fundamentals, vocalizing exercises, techniques on singing high and low notes, how to not go off-key/out of tune/off-sync, musicianship and music theory, proper diction and articulation, and a lot more are covered, all in our native language. It can be quite technical in nature, but it really helps since it covers the musical aspect of singing deeply and not just concentrates on how to impress people with your vocal range, riffs and runs and other cliches that do not necessarily make one a complete vocalist.

He committed career suicide long ago, so literal death shouldn't be too far away. Remember, stars die in 3's, so first Brad Renfro, then Fred Durst, who's next?

I read the interview he did for Playboy, & he seems like a cool kid. He's aware that he was just a flash in the pan. Don't think we'll be seeing much more of him. That era is definetly over.
His music was ok kinda gimmicky. Eat you alive is a good song.

ahhaha i laughed so hard when you called him a rapper. ahaha let me laugh again cause if he's a rapper then I'm an heiress. puh-leaze spare me. he's worse than the son of a biscuit eating dog. if you catch my drift. he's a horrible person and a more horrible human being. i can't stand him. I'm glad he's on the FFFFF list now.
