I used to be so afraid of heights, that I couldnt get three rungs up a ladder, but since flying a few times, it's no problem.

It depends on the situation. I live in a tenth floor apartment with an open balcony, no problem. Also I have climbed mountains without any problems. But I don't think I would be comfortable walking a tightrope across the Grand Canyon.
Last night I dreamed I was walking on an elevated pathway, and I suddenly realised there were no barricades and it was about three feet wide with about a twenty foot drop. As soon as I realised this, I fell to my hands and knees. It was scary. Also I used to dream I was living in a high rise apartment with no external walls and a sloped floor.

yes,, Im also the only one in my family that is.. I am horribly afraid, so much so that even so much as a meter up, I start getting those weird stomach flips.. I cannot use outside glass elevators, I cannot look out of high rise office windows, I cannot look over cliff sites,etc.. I cannot look out airplane windows.. I cannot look over balconies. I seem to get strange stomach flutters, and a feeling that my whole body is being pulled on over by a hidden magnet and I will fall whether or not I want to..

It's more the falling from a great height that bothers me the most but I must admit I hate being up somewhere high when it's a very windy day.

The heights don't bother me. It's the falling onto solid concrete at the bottom that give me the willies.
