I'm talking more about monster and folkloric creatures, myths etc... not the Devil (though I don't doubt he's pretty evil) or Bush (I don't think he's evil, just pretty dumb).

Personnally I'd say the Wendigo

The wendigo is pretty bad. A lot of people here referred to animals but they cannot be seen to be evil. They only act according to nature.

How about Scylla that many headed monster that killed the men in the Odyssey.

Or how about the dwarf Andvari from Norse mythology. He cursed a ring in his treasure hoard and everyone that came into possession of this ring was accursed. And a whole long story of this cursed ring with bad luck and murder followed. The dragon Nidhogg from Norse mythology is also a threat to the cosmos itself when he chews at the tree Yggdrasil.

But even evil creatures seem to be an integral part of the whole. Would there be heroes without adversity. Or growth without obstacles.

When I read this question, the first thing that came to mind was the everyday human being. Some so called human beings are so evil. Raping and torturing other humans or evil beings that torture and kill animals.

Never heard of the Wendigo, but the typical human being can be one of the most evil creatures on this earth.

I think the most evil creature I've ever heard of is the human being. Just look at the way we treat each other. There is no other creature mythical or in folklore that is worse than we are.

The Tasmania Devil and the North American Wolverine aren't nearly as evil as the common British House Mouse, they are ferociously evil, bu tthose other two are pretty evil too! It would make a good cage match.

i'm sorry yet this sounds like some loopy non secular rhetoric. It in basic terms perpetuates concern. so a great way as i comprehend, there have on no account been "psychics" that have taken people over and saved them as slaves. this may well be a perception that some concern-mongers have perpetuated as a manner to tug people faraway from something no longer of the Christian faith. the closest ingredient that ought to come everywhere close to near to what you're speaking approximately is a cult, like David Koresh's cult or the Jamestown cults. yet any relation to a "psychic" guy or woman holding somebody as a slave has no foundation in reality or actuality. while you're extremely desperate to place in writing your paper in this subject remember please use a hefty dose of skepticism.

I'd say the Tasmania Devil is pretty evil but I'm of three minds on the subject.

I'd have to say the North American Wolverine, way more evil than a Tasmania Devil, but I am split three ways on this.

The Saber Toothed Dust Kitty. It hides under the bed and bites off the fingers of masturbators.

Actually I've always thought the Grendl and Grendl's Dam from the Anglo-Saxon poem of Beowulf was about as nasty and evil as they come. It's a great story and there've been numerous movies made based on it.

I would have to say from Greek/Roma mythology either the chimera or Scylla are the most evil monsters.
