I agree. She is very quick witted and funny. She does have an opinion and I like that she can share it without becoming hostile. It'll be interesting how The View takes shape now.

Yes she does (although I don't know what I am answering to, as I do not know what she makes and if it is is the realm of what she should make), but having said that, she is, and always has been, the comic relief she was hired for...she is firm, well educated, funny, her timing is awesome and she is, in fact, all the characters on that show (past and present) rolled into one...if the show is to continue, she will be the saving grace....they should 'purge' all others now (Elizabeth and Barbara) ...Barbara can make a monthly appearance..and start all over with Joy as commentator...and Rosie should have still been there ..it saddens me that her career can be tarnished directly by EH, who needs to do her research better and clean out her ears to really 'HEAR' WHAT HAS BEEN SAID...Rosie, then, would have not been so vocal and gotten into this mess as it now appears...she created so much education for mainstream North America!!
and her point of view always came back to facts and figures..(hey, and who knows, she may have softened her view of the Bush Administration and looked for some of the good it has done if it wasn't reported on a daily basis, the loss of live, the sadness for families of the troops and the huge costs involved!)

I TOTALLY DISAGREE.
Joy does not have any backbone. Atleast Rosie and Elisabeth have one. Watch more episodes of the view, and you will see that she does not have any opinion...She rides on other people's opinions. Also, if the only thing she did was ask for commercial break (jokingly, I might add), then she does not deserve a raise. She could have done more. She could have jumped between R and E conversation demadly to ease up the tension. But she didn't, like I said she does not have a backbone.

I do not agree. I enjoy hearing all opinions that are voiced on the view...even Joy's...whether I agree or disagree with them.

She deserves a raise for her comment, "Doesn't this show have commercials?" when Rosie and Elizabeth were about to kill each other.

I agree! She's the ONLY sane one on the whole show despite all the drama and the changing members (Star, Meredith, Rosie). She's the COOLEST one on the show.

The only thing Joy deserves is a big slap across her face and her walking papers. She's as disgraceful and disgusting as Rosie. And she's not funny - ever notice she's the only one who laughs at her so-called jokes? I hate her voice and her "view". If she's so unhappy in America, I invite her to leave.

She doesn't deserve a raise because she's as much an instigator as Rosie.
