barry had a HOF career BEFORE the steroid allegations. IMO he should be in the hall. if the allegations are found true, maybe they should put a placard underneath his name in the hall telling of his accomplishments AS WELL as the steriod issue. like him or not, he did do a lot before 2001.
in a nutshell, he was one of the best all around baseball players in the game at the time before the allegations. after the allegations, people have been saying he might be one of the best ever to play the game.
its gonna be a tough sell for him to go the hall with everything up in the air...

They let him go away with a drug abused report and play.But he is already a future hall of famer with 7 MVP's and 9 Golden gloves and some of the records that he surpass and the best achievemnt that he could have is breaking Hank Aarons' most home runs record with just only 10 homey left.

Bonds minted his Hall plaque when he stepped on the field on Opening Day of his tenth season.
Whatever he may have done since then, he has not been sanctioned due to having contravened standing rules and work policies within Major League Baseball.
I'd vote for him in a microsecond.

Baseball allowed him and all the others to do it. Unless he tests positive for steroids in the current testing scheme, he should be in the Hall, and MLB should lie in the bed they've made.
