Mine would be that I am a terrible mum - which i'm not!

snap, I would be devistated if somebody told me I was a bad mum. I do so much for my son and love him more than anything. I would be the same if I was told I was a bad wife.

For me the worst thing is when someone is ever so nice, flatters me, only to really drive the knife deep into my back. That would hurt me more than any insult because it would be a violation of my trust and goodwill. But I would get over it, never trust that person again and ignore and avoid as much as possible.
Oh, and I hate being accused of something I haven't done.
That's about the worst thing/s.

If anyone were to question or insult my integrity I think that would be the worst thing as it would strike at the very heart of what I am as a human being.

I'm with you, anything to do with me not coping with ym daughter or that I'm terrible mum (which my nan tells me I am at every opportunity)
I try my best but it's clearly not good enough!

Yuppers, that bad mom things cuts like a serrated knife doesn't it. You could tell me I'm fat and ugly and stupid and boring (all which I do hate mind you) BUT NEVER say anything about my parenting skills ESPECIALLY in regards to single moms being....... (you fill in the blankets) that is definitely the ultimate insult! and I think it is for most moms.

That I am angry and bitter, I am not, I have adapted pretty well I think considering all the things I have had to endure as a child and early teen and in my early 20s. But when I speak of my traumas people think its angry, it's not I am just speaking and telling them what happened!!

i'm a crap mum and i'm lazy (ex said it to me all the time when i was working full time and looking after baby etc) i know its not true but if some one said it to me now i would fall to bits
