Why scorpios are water signs, i know that scorpions are land creatures. Why aquarians are air signs, the symbol of water bearer (shouldn't it be air/wind bearer)?
Is there an error (or more) in the astrological signs?
Is there an explanation to this? I accept crazy explanations anytime (but not too crazy)!
Oh ya, i'm not a scorpio or aquarius.

aquarius is an air sign because he doesn't carry the "burden" of water... this sign will spill everything that's on its mind, what he thinks, feels, everything! he can't keep it in.. btw=if you really thought he's cool and aloof, you're wrong. aquarians can be dramatic, that is when they are being emotional... nothing is kept in, all goes out. but since this sign IS EXPRESSIVE, he will be able to talk things out.. unlike leo, scorpio or taurus (the other fixed signs).
scorpio on the other hand, IS ALL WATER but..can keep his feelings in, is very in control of them and very few will meet the sensetive side. when he's emotional, my advice is for you to leave him alone (us *ehem*). when they are mad, they can't think clearly, they burst...and that's when you see the "all or nothing" part come in.. and from personal experience, they generalize a lot... when they calm down, you can talk to them.

Probably because Air (and maybe Water signs too) are the more changeable ones. We show emotions but don't like to dwell (we don't understand emotions half the time) as we'll probably be over it in a day or two. We're worried if we kept talking about our feelings people would start to ask questions about them after we moved on, and then those feelings might come back when we don't want them to. Fire signs can be attention seekers, or dramatic so if they make a big deal about it people would give them what they want. Nothing wrong with it, really :) Libra sun Aries moon

Scorpio is a emotional sign.
ALL water signs are emotional.
Water signs: Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces.
Aquarius is an AIR sign.
AIR signs are intellectual, detached, etc.
AIR SIGNS are: Libra, Gemini, and Aquarius.
