i have been with my boyfriend for about a month and half i actually met him over 4 years ago and we met a few times but he had girlfriend so it did not work out anyway we are now together and he says he is sorry about last time and he really does want a relationship with me the thing is he does not reply to my text messages in the day he does work away alot and runs his own business so he says he does not have time to reply so i pretty much only c him in the evenings ,what i dont understand is sometimes he will arrange to come round in the evening and then not bother to turn up and he will turn his phone of next morning he will say he was just tired from work so went home or he decided to go into town with his mates and did not want me to give him hassle last night h did the same thing and im still sat here wondering whats going on as his phone is still of feel like i am on a emotional roller coaster and i dont know where i stand i try to talk to him but dont get anywhere please help

Hunny Id hate to tell you this but all the signs are there .. Why don't you stop calling and act as if you have a life and let him wonder what the hell is going on and who knows maby while your acting as if you will find some one who knows how to treat you better !!!!

I don't know why you feel you need a text message so often, but you may be smothering him a touch and he's withdrawing in response.
But, unless you're hounding him this kind of behaviour is not a good sign. Either he's cheating on these days and obviously doesn't want you phoning. Or he may simply be getting tired of you and wants space without having to deal with the argument about it. The other possibility is that he's just a selfish, inconsiderate jerk.

I am in a similar relationship in which I am the boyfriend. I have economic and respectable goals that take up a lot of my time. I love my girlfriend, but it is hard for her to understand my commitment to my goals. When I have time I want to salvage some of it for my other relationships too, like my friends.
My suggestions are:
-Find something that you can do with his friends.
-**Genuinely** ask him about his progress on his business and support him. He works to be recognized. A little recognition will by you and others will lead to more time spent with you.
Now just tell my girlfriend that for me ;)

Dump him, he obviously does not see a realtionship with you as a priority so why should you waste your time. Find someone who really cares about who you are. Live you own life don't try to live it through some guy.
