Personally i use the coil, the copper t variety, there are no pills or drugs attached to it meaning that I'm not gonna suffer any mood swings or mess my body up by missing periods etc.. there are two types one that lasts for 5 yrs and one that lasts for 10 yrs, its best for me as once its in your good to go, with things like the pill id forget to take it etc.. condoms can split, so yeah i think the coil is best.

I'm a birth mom and I say Absolutely not. I chose adoption for my child, and I chose a semi open adoption. I built a relationship with my child's AP beforehand and have continued to do so. I have no control. If I would like a visits, or would like pictures I call the adoption agency and they ask if the AP's are okay with it. The ball is completely in their court, and they have all the power to say yes or no. We all respect each other though, and they know I never try to cross boundaries, or come around too often. We are all happy with the situations we are in.

The best way to tell what birth control is best for you is by figuring out what works for you and your partner. If you can remember to take a pill every day take the pill. If you cant remember to take a pill get the shot. Best thing to do is to talk it over witht your partner and your physician.

The only form I can use really are condoms.
When I was a teen and had some issues with my periods, I was put on the pill to help regulate them but ended up with DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) so I cannot use them again.
I have had bad reactions to spermicides so this rules out the sponge or diaphragms.

We used to use the contraceptive pill. Then someone suggested the implanted hormone ("Implanon", but there are others). My wife had it put in, it lasts for three years, and you don't have to think about it. It beats anything else. As a bonus, she has not had a period since having it put in, and she has far fewer mood swings. It is also cheaper, as it only costs the same as about three months supply of pills. All things considered, there is nothing that comes close. For us, anyway.

You can't be too safe. I usually wear a condom and pull out, making sure that the girl is on the pill, has an IUD, a diaphragm, a sponge and contraceptive foam, while we always restricting our activities to non vaginal sex and we only do that during her least fertile times of the month.

I always insist on a condom. No exceptions.
I realize there is still a small risk of pregnancy but using a rubber does decrease the risk a good deal.

My hubby had the snip. He was worried about it at first, but he was only in discomfort for around 2 days and I kept bringing him ice-packs and drinks :)

I keep my foot pajamas zipped all the way up and pull the covers up under my chin.
If my husband tries to touch me in an unnatural way, I scream at the top of my lungs, start speakin' in tongues and commence havin' a convulsion!!!
