I may not know the results for years. I once told a girl I knew from school that she got prettier every time I saw her. About ten years later I ran into her at a little league game. She asked me if I remembered what I said, and I repeated it. She asked me if I knew how much that meant to her. She told me she made her mind up that very day she was going to commit suicide because she thought nobody cared about her, but when she heard that, she changed her mind.
It happened in a church parking lot when I just happed to be driving by. Divine intervention?
