It's a very good business, if you do not depend on others to sell your mushrooms. Produce only such quantity which you can sell on your own. There are several people / firms advertising about selling at lucrative prices where you need to purchase materials and spawns from them. Please think? Why they are not producing themselves, if the profits are so phenomenal and assured?

In case you need more information, training etc, please contact MITCON people. The institute is government recongnised, has exclusive tie ups with SICOM etc. Runs training in various places. Few years back it had run the courses in Mumbai, too. They provide lots of help, too.

My best wishes.

ya , it's good busineess but on each and every step u should be very carefull after plantation cause some mushroom need artificially controlled temp, u can avail seed for 50 to 60 per kg in local market , beside to that spawn preparation is very good business in this segment.
