Sure why not...

They couldn't have done any worse than Ohio State!

NO, don't take the TRADITION from the Granddaddy of them all. Oh and don't give me then OSU should have been playing instead, because that doesn't count. It is understood that if the team is playing in the Title game then they won't play in the Rose Bowl. Don't drag down the Rose Bowl's name and prestige. Don't make it just another Bowl game, which is what the Fiesta bowl is. Besides all the Utah Utes got was the Fiesta Bowl and they DESTROYED the Pitt Panthers, still kills me a little, yet no one makes a big deal about them. They were the FIRST non-BCS team to go to a BCS Bowl game. They totally outplayed their oppenent in every aspect. They are what made Urban Meyer a household name. Yet people act like Boise State was so special and Utah got NOTHING. I guess because Utah WAS BETTER. I guess because Utah didn't have a proposal to end the game, and don't tell me that wasn't done AT THAT MOMENT in part to sell the game more. Not saying it was staged but that he did it AT THAT MOMENT instead of another time later because he knew it would sell the game.

Oh and the Rose Bowl was NOT the National Title game. That is the National Title game now. If you mean the National Title game then no they shouldn't have been. To the idiot who said they couldn't have done worse the OSU, they would have been PLAYING OSU. So that comment sounds stupid to me. They didn't belong in the Title Game because they are a mid-major. Let them prove themselves for a year or two BEFORE you claim they belong in the Title game.

Boise St suffers from the WAC syndrome...they don't get respect from the mainstream media...I've seen teams in the past like Utah that have been just as big..quicker and more exciting than anyone in the Major Conferences that actually spend money to court favor to receive the big match-ups..

Boise needs to start going into their houses and win some games vs the traditional programs that seem to think everything revolves around them..until then they will keep getting ripped off and dissed.

I honestly believe that Boise State should have gone to the national championship. Out of all the teams I saw last year (and i watched them all), Boise State impressed me the most. I believe they are the absolute best team last year.

Do you really think that Boise State can beat USC or Michigan? Oklahoma has been overrated for years so any and everyone has beaten them. Be careful what you wish for because you might get it.

Boise State got screwed. The media and big boys in the BCS didn't want to see them in the big game, so that's why they didn't go.
If they didn't belong in the game, it would have been evident by the score, but they deserved the chance. They couldn't have done any worse than OSU did.

OLD NEWS....Let's see what they got this year.. Can they repeat or was last year's performance a fluke. Worse scenario if you don't repeat. You will be happy you didn't play in the Rose Bowl.. Then you would have been a one game wonder. If you repeat this year..a new dynasty.

No... Who did they play, other than OSU? They beat up on the WAC?? Come on, this is big boy football, and they are not there yet.

Any underdog can beat a premier school one game after they been told they shouldn't be in the game or they don't belong for 3 weeks.

Hell no. Get over it already. It will take a few more seasons like last ones to even being remotely close to being considered for a national title game for boise state.
