During the day, the sunlight coming through gets scattered by the air molecules, giving the sky the blue color. Scattering is more for shorter wavelengths than longer wavelengths like red.

In the night, the scattered light is of negligible intensity and hence we see the sky as black.

On moon, where no atmosphere exists, the sky always looks black, day or night.

The word outer space makes meaning to us because we have an atmosphere surrounding earth. Outer space is where the atmosphere is absent. Moon for example has no atmosphere and outer space starts from the surface of the moon.

At daytime the clear sky is blue because the Earth's atmosphere scatters mostly the radiation of that wavelength from the visible spectrum of the sunlight.

because sun rays pass through the outer atmosphere before entering earth, hence we see blue colour during day time.

outer space.........v never c or explore(fly using a rocket etc.) in the direction of sun to avoid burning or blindness hence sky/outer space HAS TO BE DARK/DARK BLUE for us.

Actually, at night, there is no "sunlight" hence we can see the outerspace.

During the day, sunlight falls on earth, through it's atmosphere, which refracts the lightrays from sun to make it look blue.
