The English are no different to any other race. The people in England with the most complex love-lives are two major groups; the first and foremost being the English aristocracy and on a par and level, the English working classes.
Both these groups spend their time having sex with lots of partners. Some people have such complex sex lives it is next to impossible to explain exactly what is happening and how such people manage their lives.
King Charles II had nineteen girlfriends and must have spent most of his time trying to avoid allowing any of these women ever to meet each other or even know of the existence of these other 'girlfriends'.
King Chas was fairly typical of how the English conduct their love lives. Please remember therefore, that the Englishman you just met during a 'speed dating session' probably already has eleven girl-fiends with whom he has regular sex.
