What will you do if you are poor?

I used to believe that money is the root of all evils.. But in the recent years.. I discovered that only with NO money truly is the root of all evils..I read news relates to murdering, blackmailing, violences, cheating, committing suicides and depression mostly are relating to financial problems...

Even in my own experience, my cousin is starting to fall into trance of depression due to shortage of money to pay for her house loan and now desperately in need of cash. she does not mind to take up another job as part-time basis but most pple turn her down due to her age..

In this world, am I right to say that it is the money in search of money?? Rich people gets richer and richer, but of course with hard work and good luck.. But poor pple just gets poorer no matter how much hard work they put in, few years or even 10 or 20 years down the road, they are still struggling to work for money in order to secure 3 meals on the table??

People with fewer resources are no more susceptible to wrongdoing then people with more. There is no statistical data to support your supposition. Many people of means and wealth commit crime. It is bigoted to believe that because you have very little material wealth in life, you are easily corruptible.

I fall into the poor category. I am below the poverty line as far as I know. But, I am not on welfare or public assistance and I pay my bills, but barely. I wear a sweater and keep my heating turned down. Inconvenient, but it works for me. I shop sales, I use coupons, I scrimp and save. I watch the pennies, every last one of them. If other people, poor like me, do not do the same and suffer because of that, I have little sympathy. You are what you are, and if you choose to live beyond your means, then it is only yourself you have to blame. I am tired of people complaining "It's not my fault" when if fact, for the most part, it IS. You do not have to buy bottled water which costs $10/gallon, you can drink fro\m the tap like I do. I have found that most people who are on hard times simply do not know how to manage their money, they prefer to buy expensive things, like bottled water instead of simply drinking from the tap which is perfectly good and banking the money they would have spent for bottled water or possibly the Cappucino or Latte in the morning instead of a plain cup of brewed coffee from the pot in the office. Selfish is what causes a lot of people to overspend on the necessities by buying a luxury item instead of what they really need to survive. Being depressed about this is a mental problem which only that person can deal with. Change the attitude toward what you need versus what you want and you will do better in dealing with a lack of dollars.

Go back to school, get a grant or some kind of financial aide and get a better education, because that is the key to higher paying jobs. Don't settle for less. Go out there and get the education it takes to get that good paying job. Don't give up keep trying until you reach your goal. It will be well worth it. Maybe down the line you could help your Aunt.

Listen, if you want to make more money, then simply go to work & SAVE YOUR MONEY, INVEST YOUR MONEY or look for a better job that pays more. Don't spend your money on things you don't need. If you can't afford something, then don't even try for it. You don't have to be lucky to be rich. YOU HAVE TO BE SMART WITH YOUR MONEY if you want to be rich. If you go poor, it is your own fault for not saving money in the first place. The poor make themselves poor by making poor decisions with their finances & careers. Don't settle for a dead beat job. If you want to do better & make more money then get up & do something about it.

I love my home and I love my car, but just recently I couldnt give a **** about either, you know when you are really poor, its when you cant meet your childrens basic needs , that poor, and nothing will hurt you heart more.

lol that's not an if, we are poor, my mom is raising my brother and i on here own so the paychecks are really needed, but hey we do get by, and it could be worse. as long that i have my family with me i dont care if im poor

it is the LOVE of money that is the root of all evil.
i have being through poverty, friend it is not the will of God for us, the will of God is for us to prosper.

this is how i got out
first- i understand that God want me to prosper, that poverty is not his will for me, i started praying this scripure into my life-- deuteronomy 28:8 (bible where god promise to bless us) that all the blessing in this scripure is mine
then i did a training course to get a good job, i prayed for god to show me the parth to my prosperity and lead the way (it took time to know it) ikeppt trusting and believing God and i on my own part was looking for job

i started receiving blessings from all angle, every week, without begging, the lord keep providing that i never lack, there was a day, i was completly out of food stuff, and then a friend visited and gave me €100, that he felt he should give, other days, another friend i helped in the past showed up and bless me, it kept on and on until i got another job.

what i did with every penny i got- -i pay my tithe and offering, when people give me money, like the 100, i payed 10 tithe and gave €5 concern charity- no matter how stock or little money i get, i pay tithe and offering because i read in the bible that the lord will bless and rebuke devourer for my sake. people say different things about tithing bla bla bla, it worked for me.

now, the lord has lead me to the path i should take, i am prospering and never stop giving.

in summary, if you follow the bible principle, you will get out of poverty, it might take a little while but you will not lack.

To open the door of your heart and allow Jesus in as your lord and personal Saviour, say the prayer bellow
Lord Jesus, i open the door of my Heart and i Say come into my heart
I believe you died for my sins, i confess my sins to you(say them), i repent of them all and i ask you to forgive me
Come into my Heart, dwell in my life, Heal me Cleanse my heart, save me and make me whole
I trust you as i make you my Friend Lord and Saviour.
