I'm not a fan of either, but I'd have to chose Britney at the peak of her career. (pre smoking like a fiend, pre K-Fed, pre rehab and pre-shaving her head.) She at least knew she was a pop-tart. Avril Lavigne is just another pop-tart, one who THINKS she's all punk, but would run crying and screaming to her mommy if Johnny Rotten or Sid Vicious even looked at her!!

Both are stars,but Britney Spears is a superstar.I really think that Britney will make a comeback.

duh!! britney!!! did u know.. avril learnt all her how to perform on stage and how to look and what to do on stage while watching britney in britneys concert!!! so that means avril is just a copycat and we should give britney some ups!!! so if it wasnt for britney avril wouldnt be where she is today!!!
