Plug in the given values at the key points into each equation and see which one fits them all.

1 is the answer.
Anything that has > sign is eliminated, since (0,0) is in the reuired region. To chose between 1 or 2, look at the x or y intercepts.
We know when x=0, y should be 1 and that is satisfied by 1.

Answer is (1)

It is the equation of the shaded area.

Answer cannot be (3) or (4) because point (0,0) which is inside the area does not satisfy those equations. It cannot be (2) because points (-2,0) and (2,0) on the x-axis do not satisfy that equation.

ans. is (1).see 1st cancel option (3) & (4) because you need enclosed area towards origin i.e <= sign.now find one of the eq. of line by the 2pt. form i.e y-y1=y2-y1/(x2-x1) * (x-x1)
you will get coff. of y as 2 therefore ans. is option (1)

No prob...

Try some points; (0,0) rules out (3) and (4),
and (2,0) rules out (2).

Good luck!
