The Dolphins have decided they want a top 5 pick for next years Draft. As a Browns and Buckeye fan through I like there pick. Ginn gets top 10 $$$$ and we Browns fan get renewed hope and hopefully a great QB.

Ever since Don Shula and Dan Marino left the Dolphin organization the ownership has been grasping at straws. Nick Saban had no idea what the hell the pro game would be like and he set the team back, and then had the class to leave the situatuion even worse than he found it. It even made Jason Taylor ponder retirement. The selection of Ted Ginn Jr. was a reach and a waste... the Dolphins need help almost everywhere.Ted Ginn Jr. is a finishing touch... not a building block.....

The only reason Ted Ginn Jr. went high at all in this draft is because of what Devin Hester did last year and they're hoping for a repeat with Ginn...other then that I don't think they addressed their biggest need in QB and was overall a very lousy pick..

No way, Ted Ginn Jr remains harm & all he has is velocity. he would be a very sturdy punt & kick off returner, yet no longer as sturdy as Devin Hester or percentman Jones. he's to short to be a very sturdy receiver & his palms arent all that large. The Dolphins are idiots they want a sturdy youthful quarterback ( Brady Quinn ) no longer a decreipid old QB that use to be sturdy ( Dante' Culpepper ) & dont say we've been given John Beck he's 27 years old so he would be 30 b4 he even is familiar with the thank you to play interior the NFL & via then he would be previous his top. The Dolphins have mandatory a alternative at QB considering Marino retired & i in my opinion have faith they previous up on the subsequent Marino whilst they chosen Ted Ginn over Brady Quinn. thank you to bypass Dolphins!!!! Dumbasses! bypass TITANS!!!!!!!

The Dolphins seemingly have taken a cue from the Lions obviously...drafting the flashy receiver...but with no one to get him the ball...ie. Brady Quinn, Ginn will be a waste...just like the Lions latest bomb, Calvin Johnson...I mean if they picked Guinn in the second round, that would have been OK...and wouldn't that have sounded cool?...Quinn to Ginn...TD!!!...

I believe they drafted Ginn with the thought that they were going to be able to trade for Trent Green at QB. This meant not needing to use a 1st rounder on a QB such as Brady Quinn

No it wasn't that much of a reach for Ginn, and Brady won't do much in the NFL. and there were not any other QB that could have been taken where they were at.
But the real reason behind it is that coach knows Ginn Sr.

I think that it would have been alright if the Dolphins picked Ginn Jr. in the first round but they should have traded back to get more picks then picked Ginn.

Worst Scenarios:
A. Best player on the board at the time;
B. Did not want Brady Quinn
C. If Daunte Culpepper is not healthy and they need to trade in the future for a quarterback, Ginn maybe still on injury reserve and he is tradeable
Best scenarios:
When he healthy he could be the fastest Wideout in the NFL.
Their defense need some help so they can stay off the field.

Honestly I think he was picked as a Return man NOT a WR. Oh and about Saban setting them back imagine if the Team Doctor's had done a better job. They said that Culpepper was a better choice then Brees, although they were basing it on medical charts. They didn't think Brees would be as healthy. Imagine if it had gone THE OTHER WAY. Either if Drew was further injured and Culpepper was the one who was healthy, like the Doctors picked, OR if he had taken Brees over Culpepper and went against the advice. You people would probably be talking about the "genius" move of Nick Saban.
