OK it's under the guise of a fund but in any event still a limited company. They have quit the UK indefinitely, so in that case are they still receiving their joint annual salary of around £200,000 from the NHS?

And before people think this is the wrong time to think about money, remember Dr McCann by his own admission used the overdrawn bank account analogy.

Rosie I agree with you on that one, that limited company was set up within the first week.

They are riding high on this publicity and free holiday in my opinion. When will the British public stop paying for them and remember many children go missing all the time not just this poor little girl. They all need help to be saved. These parents seem to be thriving on all the media attention. Most people would be so heart broken they wouldn't be able to pop out for a walk and jog every day and generally "hold court".

I am amazed how this case goes from strength to strength. The McCanns were the subject of evil and quite possibly they must retain some responsibility for what happened. How they have got the focus of the world is beyond me .... and you know what? They'll be making a film of this next, the public demand will continue unabated. The McCanns should return to their jobs and normalise their lives as soon as possible. The public would commend that. And I ask you, if you suffered a personal trauma like this and sought advice from your GP, wouldn't he be telling you to seek counselling and normalise your life as soon as possible? Someone, somewhere, needs to rationalise this situation.

Nice work if you can get it. Paid extended leave, Mark Warner footing the bill for your accommodation, a limited company set up (that seemed to be their main priority), no signs of any real attempts to search for their daughter and, to cap it all, the adulation of the Press.

stop their pay, make them go home and dont pay them til they go back to work full time, and stop making a fuss about the fact that your daughter has been abduction. What is wrong with people these days making such a fuss, I mean they've still got the twins..........................give them a break whether its right or wrong its going to happen. If I was in their position I'd do everything I can and I would think the most painful heartbreaking feeling would be to leave the country where she may be like leaving her behind. Unimaginable.

Asswipe, Very hard for the McCanns to spend their projected future income, of 2000,000 at this point in time.

You obviously dont take into account what monthly bills they have to meet out of their monthly pay cheques. Like standing orders for mortgage, car, electric, water, poll-tax etc...etc....

The P. R guys job is to keep the bloodsucking media at bay, and allow them to not get over stressed by bloody stupid questions from people out to peddle crap newspapers.

I wondered about this. So if they are on full pay, why do they need our money? It certainly isn't being used to find Maddie. for Gods sake they've hired a bloody PR.
Perhaps its to fund the extended holiday of their entourage?
Or their intended European Tour?

This case is unprecedented in all aspects isn't it? It's a shame that it has done Maddie no good so far.
