Having lived in Texas for 10 years, I like my chili with ALOT of heat, ant of spice, made with chuck steak, and NO beans! Have that chili simmering on a low heat for 6-8 hours, and next thing you know, you've got yourself dinner, and enough leftovers for a couple of days! All you need is some crackers, or a couple of biscuits, and a nice cold beer, and you're good to go..
Have you noticed how chili often tastes better the next day, after the flavors had time to come together.. mmmm...
