Do you mean dictatorship. If that is so, then it always fail because in this system of governance all liberties of the
people are curtailed and at the same time only the mandate
of one person is being enforced and any body who attempts
to go against his will be placed in prison or worse can be killed
without due process. For these very reasons, even those close
to the dictator are not sure of their fate and they usually are
the ones who will lead an uprising to bring down a dictator.
To give an example; Marcos, who ruled for more than
20 years in a dictatorial system was removed thru a revolt
led by his defense secretary and a general in the army.

It depends on how you define "failure".

Cuba's a dictatorship, and has been for almost 50 years. Their economy is a wreck, but does that mean the dictatorship failed? It hasn't from Castro's point of view.

Ultimately they all fail, because by their nature they depend on the personal power of one person, and mortality gets in the way of that being a serious long term option.

Hmmm. As far as i recall, while individual dictators themselves may be replaced, the institution of dictatorship, itself, is very much alive and well. Even in our own, very alleged, "democracy", our "president" is inching his way toward one, is he not ? One more "false flag" CIA/Mossad organized "terrorist attack" like 9/11, and we'll probably be "there"----martial law, and voila'--dictatorship, for the "benefit and safety of the people"

The planet is owned and operated by psychopaths; the government "leadership" of each country is mid level management. It has been this way for millennia, and will probably continue thus for some time to come.

the reason is --- the people behind the dictator. they want the dictator to remain in power so that they could benefit from it. their goal is selfish that they don't care about the citizen which later become disappointed with the system and try to make some changes.

Because they don't do the whole dictatorship thing right. They need to be more aggressive, persuasive, and rule with an iron-fist. Just joking. LOL
