Can anyone verify the old story about two Star Trek fans, that spoke in Klingon because neither spoke English?

This was a kid who was lost in Japan, and saw someone with the Klingon symbol on his shirt. So he went up and asked, "Do you speak Klingon?" and the Japanese kid did, and the American kid was able to find his way back. Is this an urban legend, or did this happen?

Sounds like a urban legend. ON what off chance would both the American Kid and Japanese kid both know klingon.

I saw two men speaking Klingon on TV.
