Pitch is kinda like "Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do". The Chipmunks sing in a higher pitch, or if you inhale helium from a balloon, you're speaking in a higher pitch.

Volume is how loud the sound is -- The louder it is, the more likely you are to hear it.

The human ear is more sensitive to some frequencies than others, but higher frequencies seem louder.
