The best one:
www.simetric.co.uk
You can type in your own numbers or there is a table there for the more common conversions.

A fairly good program for cheating/checking your conversions can be got from
http://joshmadison.com/software/convert/
I find it most difficult to remember the constants required for the conversion. If you understand algebra I'll explain how most conversions work. (Temperature is a little awkward so I'll ignore it for now)
y.= x [X] * a ([Y] / [X])
[Y] represents the type of unit you want to get to
y is its value.
[X] is the type you are converting from
x is how much of it there is
"a [Y]/[X]" is a constant which expresses the ratio between the sizes of the two measurements. you can read it "a [Y] per [X]"
to convert 10 meters to feet you write.
y = x *a
let x = 10 [m]
let a = 3.28083 [ft]/[m]
y = 10 [m] * 3.28083 [ft]/[m]
some of units can be cancelled out and you'll be left with
y= 10 *3.28083 [ft]
y = 32.8083 [ft]
(This notation is the one used in engineering) Hope it gives you the idea of how its done.

Google and Yahoo will do the trick
Example, in the search window write
10 m in inches
and you will get the answer
10 meters = 393.700787 inches
