Oh i cant choose, i loved all 3 parts, they all had their individual stories and lessons to contribute....the first part was about how with great power comes great responsibility....and it was about loss and sacrifice...part 2 was about doubt and how much it can change inside you if you let it.....and the third part was about your alter-ego...and it just goes to show you how much anger you could have pent up inside you and what happens if you choose to vent it in the wrong way....and i know many thought that part 1 and especially 3 were rather cheesy, but honestly, i dont mind a little cheesyness because most superhero movies cannot go without a little cheese...its just kind of part of the charm and so i think all 3 parts where great. :)

2 is hands'down the best. I think one was overrated and marred by Willem Dafoe eating the scenery. 3 was WAY too busy (probably because some studio execs were trying to sell too many action figures). Some of the lines were so bad I groaned out loud.
2 is, along with the second Xmen film and Batman Begins, the best comic film I've ever seen.

For anyone that hasn't seen Spidy 3, you need to see it. So far above the others in gimmicks, stunts, and special effects. But, you know, this time the special effects and gadgets aren't the focal point. But, who would have known, there's a really good story going on and just as you realize that, the special effects pull you in again. By the ending, wow, you realize you've been on this trip and completely sucked into the story. Yeah.

Always go with the original. you can't enjoy the otherones with out the character development in the first movie.
