So you really think that Lorenzo Alcazar is dead? The fact that they didn't really show anything leaves it open for him to come back?

I believe in soapland that everyone can come back from the dead no matter who they are. In real life he did want off the show so they wrote him out in such a way that they can wait till he decides to come back or recast him with another person. I doubt that's the last we'll see of Lorenzo Alcazar. I didn't really care for the way they killed him off by doing it off camera it really doesn't give you much closure with his character.

No, Alcazar is not dead. Sonny makes me sick. Maybe Alcazar and Jason teamed up and are planning to take care of Sonny. Sonny acts like everyone should bow down to him. I know the actor Ted King did not re-sign his contract. He wants to do other things. I think GH should get a new Alcazar.

Since Ted King (Alcazar) didn't sign up again, they had to do something drastic. Killing him off camera is a sure sign that they can re-cast him at some future time should the storyline dictate.
P.S. OR - He could always come back as a ghost and haunt Sonny, Jason and Skye !!!!!!!! Can't you see Sonny being haunted the way Alan is doing to Tracy, that would be a laugh a minute. I'd pay to see those scenes.

Well considering I heard the actor didn't renew his contract, he is (at least for now) gone for good.
But by not showing his death on screen, the writers are leaving it open (to a certain degree) for an Alcazar come back in the future. But for now he's gone.
Which is fine by me because his character was really starting to piss me off.

Yes I think he's dead. Jason said to Sonny that it was a clean job and that it's all done and over with. They don't ever have to worry about Alcazar again.

I think they did that to have the opportunity to bring him back in the future. But Ted King did opt to not renew his contract, so it won't be him playing the character if they do. But who knows with these soaps, Brenda was always saying she'd never come back and she ended up coming back for a bit, and may be doing so again (though rumors say with another actress)

They may bring him back at some point in the future... but for now he is gone. The actor didnt renew his contract so he is gone.
