Why does everyone own one, if you can get a much better looking one or a cheaper price. Can you explain to me why people buy them?

I am guilty of paying 130$ for a northface jacket. It isn't one of the regular fleece ones though, it is one of the ones where the fleece is combed or something until it's almost furry looking. Seriously, it is the softest piece of clothing I have ever felt. and it keeps me warmer than anything I have ever had.
Through my shopping endeavors, I have discovered that the saying is true, "you get what you pay for." in this case, I have worn this jacket hundreds of times (no exaggeration) and washed it a bunch, and it still looks brand new. I've seen a lot of fleece that is practically ruined after washing.

theyre really popular because theyre super soft fleece, durable, and really warm!
i dont have one though because a) my mom's not going to pay $100 bucks for a fleece jacket and b) i'm more of a bomber/peacoat girl.
the colors are cute though.
you could always ask for one as a present!
like if you're birthdays around or around Christmas.
and oh if you're small enough, the kids are basically the same and cheaper!

Northface is really high quality. You get what you pay for.

If you get it cheap or way cheap something is wrong.
Usually they have sales rarely. Made of high quality and durability, and workmanship.

they are very high quality...and if they can keep people climbing up mt. everest warm they are good enough for me.
they are usually the best by hardcore campers/skiers, and other outdour enthusiasts.

im not sure, up until about 3 hours ago i didnt own one but my dad brought one home from his school and it fits and yeah,,,,,,,they are redicously expensive
