I would like to put a tree in my yard with flowers for some color. I have an inground pool. Last year we removed a pine tree and a huge maple. Leaves and needles were crazy in and around the pool. I would plant the tree about 40' from pool. Need something that isn't real messy like NO fruit trees etc. Website with pic appreciated.

Maybe a mature azalea, or a magnolia, they are beautiful. Anything that flowers is going to leave a mess.

I have an inground pool too. Even the trees of my neighbors that live across the street have leaves that blow into my pool.
How they can span that much distance I'll never know but I do know this. Any tree that grows blossums will leave you skimming petals out of your pool 24/7.
I moved around quite a bit and my family had a pool at about half of them.
I too want some pretty colorful trees or ones that blossum but I've checked into it and there is just no way the flower petals will avoid getting in.
It's just a matter of how badly we want blooming trees. (sigh)
