i am not miriam b. but i cannot find the word. i've googled it, m-w.commed it, all sorts of internet tries have failed. maybe it's not a word. or maybe it is and it's spelled wrong. i would think by context clues, that it means that they are self absorbed.

I've never heard of that word but it sounds like it might be a misspelling of "ethnocentric". A person is ethnocentric if they believe that their ethnic group and it's cultural values is the best ethnic group with the best values.
You can do a search on ethnocentric and find out a lot more about this.

maybe it was a typo and she meant to say: ethnocentric??.... which means Some one who thinks that they are better than someone because of race or culture

it is not a word, but a conjoining of latin roots....enthro means selfish, while sintristic means hurtful....hope i helped
