This is my daughters fourth grade math and my 17 year old and myself can't get the answer. Possibly we are trying too hard??

=49
squareroot 49 = 7

6 x 8 = 48
48 + 1 = 49
square root of 49 = 7

6 times 8 is 48 then add one which is gives you 49 and the square root is 7

the 8th multiple of 6 is 48. (6*8)

add 1 to get 49

the square root of 49 is 7.
