I'm changing my name and i would need ideas for names that are neutral as far as gender is concerned, meaning that I don't want them to give any hint concerning the gender. For example, Bris or Tay are androgynous names.

Any other ideas?

desperatehw, the representation or meaning of the name doesn't have anything to do with it. The name can still sound androgynous and be classified as unisex name despite the meaning.

I have a boy's name. Jaime. Not a problem for me, expect that it is spelled a little differently than normal. I had two classmates named Jamie, one boy, one girl. I don't mind the trend usually. I know a girl named Stanley, which I think is the oddest use of a boy's name for a girl that I've come across. I think the worse trend is to use non-names as names (thank you celebrities). I much prefer my name to Pilot Inspektor or Banjo.

Lee, Carter, Madison, Tucker, Casey, Grayson, Cary, Mason, Ardon, Aiden, Peyton, Blair. These are just a few. I grew up in the south and knew males and females with these names...it's a southern thing. People use family surnames for their children's first names.
