Is anyone else completely turned on by either red-hot vampires or beastly and rugged werewolves? I at first thought I was crazy, but realized that there is a whole line of paranormal romance novels, etc. out there.

Come on... don't you secretly want to be ravaged by your vampire lover? Or have your werewolf lover growl at you?

Good grief you people are nuts. I write paranormal romances too, but I don't drink blood... and by no means act on anything. I just meant, gosh, when you're alone, don't you occasionally give yourself a rub and think about that fanged lover? Or the furry beast? You might just find them resembling your real-life lover....?

No, I understand what you mean. You don't have to incorporate "blood drinking" lifestyles into your own in order understand the sex-appeal of vampires. There is definitely something sexy about them, and a thrill that those stories possess. Werewolves have that too, in their own way. Despite what some people have said, both are often depicted as very sensual creatures. Many people enjoy those sorts of fantastical daydreams of the dangerous and sexy, and the freedom the lack of reality in them gives you. Hey, I think vampires are hot. xD So I hear you.

Well when you are ravaged by a vampire or a werewolf it all ends in your death.. Also a vampire killing you will not help you come back as a vampire.... You see people read those stories about vampires and werewolves and they are not aware of the history of these creatures..For they are both without mercy or pleasure in any sense of the word... And the last thing that either one of them wants is competition for the same food source. Also remember that the greater the competition the greater the search will be to find them and with to many deaths they will be found and killed........................ Oh one more thing the werewolf ravage a human body is by eating it and it does not like its food source kicking or screaming. Also remember that a vampire is already dead so there goes any chance of sexual contact......................................................

My vampire lover sometimes growls at me. We are not real vampires but we do bite and drink blood and yes it is sexy and very romantic.

It's fair to say that the vampire and it's legend has a measure of sex appeal. A werewolf? I'm going to say no. No sex appeal, nothing remotely sexy. You'll be happy to know that I've met people who share your occasional fantasy and there's nothing wrong if it stays fantasy.

there is an entire, pardon the phrase, cult following, or subculture, who follows your thoughts.

just look up "vampire" on yahoo images and see what you get.

have fun with your fantasy. share it with that special someone. but make sure that if it gets out of control that you seek help.

Werewolves are not sexy so I'll choose vampires.
