i forgot to validate windows xp pro on my lap top and now I'm locked out,what do i do?

it lets me try to sighn on but then all it does is tell me to validate windows,cant get any further than that.

You had several weeks to validate before it started giving you warnings and several more before it locked you. You can call ms and they will verify your liscence and then give you a code to unlock it. 1800microsoft

Then you validate your Windows, it can do it over the internet or gives you a number to call, whats the problem ??

try inserting ur recovery cd or xp cd and boot from it and reinstall all over then validate
