I bought a Netgear WG311v3 wireless adapter and I can't find where to install it! It's driving me insane! I have a Dell Dimension 3100 Desktop if that helps.....

USB slot. If you havent opend the nox yet, trade it for a pci or pcie card, they are more reliable

this is an internal adapter so you must remove the side of your pc and fit it into a spare pci slot. you must install the software from the cd first before fitting the adapter, once the software is installed then you remove the side of the casing and fit the adapter into a spare pci slot, i hope this helps

If its external adapter, then u need to plug it in USB.

but make sure i need to install the software before u insert your wireless adapter in USB port.
